About Blue Mirror Insights
Blue Mirror Insights was established in 2017, initially to develop data products incorporating the detailed work content of occupations to support UK educational development.
Our vision is to become a key data and content provider to Industry and Education, by developing a series of databases and analytics which support job design and associated elements of entry paths and qualifications, career pathways and progression to support individual choices and circumstances, and as a way of improving labour market responsiveness (flexibility and productivity).
Our affiliate and partner network is wide ranging, consisting of thought leaders and experts from business and industry, academia, education and government.
Our technology combines databases of occupational and educational data with a powerful natural language processing (NLP) engine that compares incoming unstructured text such as learning outcomes or job profiles or resumés against standardised forms of the data.
